Flavors of Rajasthan elections

While there is a lot of speculation happening over the state elections in Rajasthan; with media making wild claims of Congress win, hung assembly or narrow escape for ruling BJP... I saw a very different and positive aspect of this election while traveling through Rajasthan.

There are no posters, banners that harm the beauty of the city or town. The only (and very few) posters seen, were on the paid hoarding locations, that too in a very decent manner.

This was in sharp contrast with my own City of Pune, where I everyday see useless hoardings, posters, banners of very small, insignificant, local (so called) leaders, even when there are no elections. Many of these cover the road signs, traffic signals or are put up illegally over some hoarding locations where some official paid hoardings exist.

No wonder Rajasthani towns/ cities look much better and cleaner than a so called 'Cultural', 'Well educated' and 'Smart' city like Pune.
